As our GKR Breeding Program has grown we are continuously upgrading, selling, buying and changing our Breeder Bucks! Doc Gist (owner) has always said, the quickest way to go bust in this industry is stop 'investing in this industry'! We move pretty fast to stay ahead of the market in this ever changing and specialized business as it relates to our Breeder Bucks!

One major theme of our Breed Pens that our clients notice is that 100% of our cover bucks are well known, highly marketable Sires that are built from incredible proven production. We live breed a hand full of our Show Does each year to all our cover bucks and yes, we have a very strong and aggressive A.I. Program as well. But.. The right 'Live cover Bucks' is a common shortfall in many great programs around the country! Like Doc says, "If your A.I. doesn't take in 30-50% of your Does on any given down year. A large percentage of our program has the potential of going backwards if they get bred by Ding Dong Harry - A NO NAME or INFERIOR PEDIGREED Buck!"

With all that being said, we are always selling Marketable Breeder Bucks to clients, after several years of Service! Even the HOT ones!
